“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.” - John Muir
Spending time in nature gently invites us back to ourselves. Whether it’s a quiet walk beneath the trees, the sound of birdsong at dawn or noticing how the seasons shift, these simple moments help calm the mind and soothe the nervous system. Nature doesn’t demand; it offers space, presence and perspective. It’s often in these unhurried moments outdoors that we find clarity, connection and a quiet sense of wellbeing.
By Sarah Lynne grew from a deep love of nature and the healing moments it offers when we slow down enough to notice. Here, you’ll find inspiration for self nurture through nature, gentle reflection and journaling ideas, along with nature inspired art to help bring those moments into your everyday.

Nature & Play
Nature & Play is a gentle invitation for children and families to connect with the natural world through curiosity, creativity and play. Rooted in slower moments outdoors, it encourages learning that feels natural and unforced… muddy hands, keen eyes, small discoveries and a growing sense of care for the world around us.
This concept has grown from Sarah’s work as an environmental educator and numerous career roles, from Education Officer through to Visitor Centre Manager. Sarah holds a qualification in Countryside Management and a post graduate qualification in Environmental & Developmental Education. With almost 30 years experience, she aims to offer ideas for meaningful, accessible nature-based activities for children and families, supporting wellbeing, creativity and a sense of belonging in the natural world.

Projects
It feels like 2026 is already flying along as we head into March. I have a busy month ahead organising my collection for the upcoming Spring and Summer seasons and various fairs and exhibitions.
I will first off be exhibiting at Living North’s Live event in York from 20th - 22nd March, it’ll be the first large event for 2026 and it’s giving me the opportunity to review my collections and have a tidy up of the studio. I’m really excited to have the opportunity to attend!
As usual I also have my cards and prints in The Crafty Corner & Unity Yard so if you are in the vicinity of either, please do pop in and say hi.
Other projects include a new card range or two, the production of some gorgeous mini prints and the addition of my new large original tree ring prints, all of which you can find here
